When Payment Is Due
Cancellations and Outstanding Balances
Payment is due on the day of service and must be received before the scheduled session begins, unless we have made another written arrangement before the session. Because this is an online practice, payment is accepted electronically. Accepted payment methods may include credit card, debit card, HSA/FSA card when applicable, or secure online payment through the client portal or approved electronic payment platform. Cash payments are not accepted.
A $50 late cancellation or no-show fee may be charged without 24 hours’ notice. This fee is not charged for true emergencies or circumstances outside your control. Outstanding balances must be paid before additional sessions can be scheduled.
Sliding Scale Fees
Insurance and Superbills
A sliding scale fee may be available in limited circumstances and can be discussed before beginning services or if your financial situation changes. Arrangements must be agreed upon in advance.
This practice does not accept insurance. Upon request, a superbill can be provided for possible out-of-network reimbursement. You are responsible for confirming your own benefits if you seek reimbursement.
Fee Changes
Good Faith Estimate Notice
Any changes to fees will be provided in writing before they take effect. Clients may receive a plain-language written explanation of treatment types and charges upon request.
Under the No Surprises Act, uninsured or self-pay clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs before care. The total cost depends on your clinical needs and session frequency. You may stop services at any time. A Good Faith Estimate is not a contract.
